Founder | Built To Throw QB Training

Football has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Central Florida, I spent my playing career at quarterback, learning the position through years of competition, development, and exposure to some of the best football minds in the game. My journey took me to the collegiate level at Florida Memorial University before transferring to the University of South Florida.

Throughout my playing and coaching career, I've had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside experienced coaches, former NFL players, and high-level athletes, including experiences with the Manning Passing Academy and Tom Shaw Performance. Those opportunities helped shape my understanding of quarterback development and reinforced my belief that elite quarterback play starts with mastering the fundamentals.

Today, as a high school football coach in Tampa and founder of Built To Throw, my goal is to pass that knowledge on to the next generation of quarterbacks.

THE PURPOSE BEHIND EVERY REP

MY COACHING
PHILOSOPHY.

We don't just train quarterbacks to throw better. We teach them to understand why they throw the way they do.

My approach is built around three foundational principles: arm path, mechanical integrity, and the ability to self-correct rather than self-destruct.

I place a heavy emphasis on developing a consistent, efficient throwing motion, eliminating unnecessary movement, and establishing non-negotiable fundamentals from the ground up. Everything starts with the feet, and every movement should serve a purpose.

But mechanics are only part of the equation. I want every quarterback I work with to understand their own throwing motion. When a ball sails high, misses behind a receiver, or doesn't come out the way it should, the response shouldn't be frustration or a complete mechanical breakdown. It should be recognition, understanding, and correction.

That's what separates quarterbacks who simply train from quarterbacks who truly develop.

Beyond the physical mechanics, I emphasize footwork, processing information, coverage recognition, decision-making, and the confidence to execute under pressure. My goal is to develop quarterbacks who are not only technically sound but also intelligent, composed, and capable of coaching themselves when it matters most.

At Built To Throw, our philosophy is simple: Make your worst throw better.

Because true development isn't about how good your best throw looks. It's about how consistently you can execute, how well you understand your craft, and how quickly you can correct yourself when things don't go according to plan.
